Mom is feeling unwell.
Her normally perky face is looking pale and sweaty, making the lines in between her eyebrows appear particularly deep and uncomfortable.
It's noon and we have nothing to eat. She asks us to look after ourselves and let her rest, but who's going to look after her?
With baby sister by my side, we draw up the perfect plan. I will be the chef and make lunch, and sis will be the nurse and go lie next to mom so she is not alone.
A few clock strikes later, we present to our patient the most delicious meal on earth: fluffy plain rice.
One tearful look at our offering, mom is cured.
